Die design being critical for production of quality castings with optimal yield, MKPC has the requisite expertise, experience, equipment and tools for in-house design and validation of die-casting dies. MKPC’s engineering team collaborates with customers to optimize the design of die-cast parts with a view to make it production friendly and cost effective. The team also designs and develops fixtures, jigs and gages for post-casting operations and machining of die-cast parts.
Manufacturing of dies is outsourced and MKPC works with reputed die manufacturers in Malaysia, China, Taiwan and Korea for manufacture of dies. Selection of die manufacturer is based on complexity of die design, supplier’s capability and cost. MKPC endeavors to provide best tooling solution to its valued customers.
MKPC ensures conformance to design, adherence to delivery timeline and quality of tooling through periodic and rigorous quality checks on tooling material, workmanship and manufacturing program.
MKPC has Japanese make cold chamber die-casting machines in tonnage range from 125 T up to 800 T for production of precision die-cast parts. All die-casting machines are equipped with melting and holding furnace which facilitates use of different alloys for production of parts. Die-casting machines are equipped with high level of automation for process capability and mass production of quality parts.
MKPC has in-house facilities for trimming, stress relieving, flattening, shot blasting, tumbling, buffing and polishing for post casting operations on die-cast parts based on product requirement.
MKPC has a vast number of CNC turning, vertical machining, horizontal machining and special purpose machines for machining of aluminum and zinc castings with required dimensional accuracy, process capability and surface finish.
MKPC has the capability to offer customers products with surface finish such as powder coating, ED coating, painting, anodizing, electro-less nickel plating and chrome plating and any other surface that is required. Surface finishing is outsourced and MKPC works closely with its vendors to offer superior quality at competitive pricing.
MKPC has facilities and capability to develop, procure and assemble child parts to die-cast parts to meet customer’s requirement of ready-to-use assembled products. MKPC is willing to invest in testing facilities for functional testing and validation of such assemblies.
